Tim's passion for aviation started on a flight simulator at 10 years old. He began flight training at 15 and completed his first solo flight on his 16th birthday. With an engineering background and certifications as an A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) mechanic with IA (Inspection Authorization), he has built a career deeply rooted in aviation. Whether flying, maintaining aircraft, or simply being around them, he enjoys every aspect of aviation and is always eager to share his knowledge and experience with others who share the same passion.
Travis spent 4 years in the Army as a Chinook mechanic. After transitioning to civilian life he worked for Dyncorp as a military maintenance contractor for 20 years. During this time he obtained his private pilot license as well as his A&P license. He founded T&T along with Tim Jacobs in 2019.
Eric started his aviation career in the Army working avionics on Kiowas (OH-58D) then transitioned to the Apache (AH-64D/E). After retiring from the Army he spent time as a contractor then eventually switched to general aviation. He has been working GA for 4 years and military aircraft for 12.
Alex began his aviation career at a general aviation grass strip working on Bonanza's in upstate New York. After completing his 3 year apprenticeship he obtained his A&P license. He then moved down to Tennessee to start working at T&T aviation. His favorite part about the job is the variety of aircraft he gets to work on!
Doug began his career in 1985 as an Army UH-1 mechanic/crewchief. After retiring from the military he obtained his A&P and his very own GA aircraft! Later on in his career he obtained his IA certification.
Nick has roughly 25 years of general mechanical experience. He earned his private pilot license as a hobby, which kicked off his interest in aviation. After graduating from a part 147 A&P school, he began working at T&T. Nick has worked general aviation for the past 4 years.
Jacob started his career working at a repair station in California for 5 years. He then transitioned to a charter airline where he performed line maintenance on 757s. After moving to Tennessee, he started working with T&T Aviation and loves getting to see the aircraft he works on take off!
Kyle began his aviation career working on F/A-18 fighter jets in the Marine Corps. After transitioning from military to civilian life he started contracting for 2 years. He found an interest in general aviation which led him to graduate a Part 147 A&P course.
Jacob spent 6 years in Army aviation maintenance working on the Apache (AH-64E). After transitioning into civilian life he obtained his A&P license and began working general aviation maintenance.
Austin has always had an interest in aviation and decided to become an A&P in 2018. He graduated a Part 147 school and has been working general aviation ever since!
Chuck began his aviation career in the Army. He served as a chinook mechanic/crewchief with the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment at Ft. Campbell. He spent 20 years as an Army aviation maintainer then transitioned to general aviation for the past 3 years.
Leny started working at T&T in Nov 2023. She handles all the administrative work associated with parts, work orders, and billing. If you visit our CKV location, she'll be the first person to greet you!
Dude is also one of the original founders of T&T. He sends an email about once a week to get the company to change its name to T&T&D, but we're hoping the "hush treats" keep him quiet.
Bull started his career on the streets of Clarksville before T&T gave him a chance. His job is to keep our hangar safe. However, he's due for a performance review because he sleeps on the job too much.
